The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Feuerbach is the son of Greg and Rachel Feuerbach of Tucson. He is a 2013 graduate of Catalina Magnet High School, Tucson.

McClendon is the son of Tom McClendon and Paula Paczkowski of Kincheloe, and brother of Raquel McClendon of Owosso. He is a 2009 graduate of Rudyard High School. He earned an associate degree in 2013 from Baker College of Owosso.

He is the son of Janet Metcalf of Syracuse. The airman is a 1998 graduate of Solvay High School, Syracuse. He earned a bachelor’s degree in 2003 from Canisius College, Buffalo.
